Tench
Tinca Tinca
Tench is our most common carp-type
fish with incidence throughout the whole territory of the Czech Republic.
The quality of tench in the Bohemian-Moravian
Uplands is especially good.
Abroad, tench is appreciated 2.5
times higher than carp.
It grows slowly. In average, it
reaches a weight of 0.5 to 1 kg, rarely 2 kg, and up to 7 kg as a maximum.
We catch it all the year round in
the lawful measure of 20 cm. We use finer instruments.
The best way of catching is the
heavy, semi-heavy and floating method. |
