- their origin is in fish kept in the region
of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the 1960s to 1970s,
in many years of selection and in consistently
performed breeding work.
(This consists in controlled selection of generation
fish, their reproduction, testing of productivity and
heredity control in co-operation with the breeding
station of the Fishery Research Institute VÚRH and
the Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics
of Farm Animals of the Academy of Sciences of
the Czech Republic.)
